One thing is for sure, fresh mint has the determination I envy. It will take over every crevice in your yard. The people who sell mint should put a very large warning on each plant, “spreads like wild fire!” The good news: I love mint. I cut it fresh every week and put it into mason jars all over my house. It’s free and smells better than most candles.
Want to know another sure thing? Sugar scrub is expensive! I love Shea Moisture brand, it is one of the best out there, but it is costly and I’m convinced my husband eats it in the shower because we go through it so quickly.
This week, as I wait for the arrival of my little girl (I am currently 39 weeks and 3 days), I have decided to fill my days with fun activities for myself and my son. I want to cherish the last few days of being a mom to only one precious little monster.
One thing I instantly regretted: painting with a 2 year old. But after we established some boundaries, things went into full out fun mode. He loves painting, it helps me practice patience and so we are painting about 5 times a day now.
The next thing on my list was making some fresh body scrub made with the overwhelming amount of fresh mint I have.
