Fall is coming! I am Falls biggest fan, I love anything and everything about fall. Apple picking, hot cider, pumpkins galore, mums, trick or treat, (I am so excited to see Storm walk around this year!) Thanksgiving (duh). I love my lululemon leggings that I live in from September until mid March, I love baking pumpkin everything for weeks straight and I love turning on our fire place. The last reason I am in love with Fall is because it is the season of becoming more grounded.

No Eating at Least 3 Hours Before Bed
You want to be resting and not digesting when you’re ready to hit the hay! This one is usually the toughest one for me, I like snacks. I try to wind down with tea lightly sweetened with raw honey.
To Bed and Awake at Same Time Each Day
Routine is a great way to normalize digestion so that Pitta organs can heal and also to bring order and peace to the Vata mind, especially during the fall season.
Breath Work or Meditative Practice
Even five minutes a day can change your life. This is easy peasy. Remember to do it before you get out of bed in the morning, or better yet before you go to sleep.
Daily Self Massage
I love sesame oil because it tones the skin, strengthens muscles, nourishes the body tissues, and soothes the emotions. I love keeping it in my shower. Carrot Apple Glow Juice
- 2 large organic carrots, tops trimmed
- 1 organic Granny Smith apple, cut into quarters
- 1 Naval orange, quartered and peeled
- Place the ingredients into the juicer according to the manufacturer’s directions.
- Drink or place in a tightly sealed glass container and refrigerate immediately. Keeps for about two days.
Yields about 16 ounces or 1 serving
