I challenge you to eat fewer processed foods and less sugar this month.
I am very excited you found your way here. It means you are looking for a way to improve the way you feel! Every once in a while, that balance of a lot of good fresh foods and a few treats here and there gets thrown out of whack and I want a plan to help you get back on track.
Step 1: Reduce Toxins
Your health truly manifests itself from the inside out; proper functioning of your vital organs and minimizing toxic load can influence your health as much as any other controllable factor. Examples of chemicals we frequently come in contact with are ingredients in processed foods such as artificial sweeteners and flavor enhancers, automobile exhaust, cigarette smoke, solvents, plastics, pesticides, xenoestrogens, and harsh cleaning products. Radiation refers to high-energy particles that can negatively affect cellular structures and DNA. The most common source of radiation we are exposed to is sunlight. Our bodies are exposed to countless possible toxins every day, many of the interactions being unavoidable, but we can take steps to minimize their effect on our health.
We will begin our 30 Day journey by first helping the body rid itself of toxins naturally.
Step 2: Adding in Whole Foods
I believe that most foods can fit into a healthy diet. That’s why you’ll find recipes that deliver on health and taste and won’t make you feel deprived. But we all need a little healthy-eating boost sometimes. So for one month, I will be encouraging you to put your focus on whole food and cut way back on processed foods. Over these 30 days, you should save money, eat healthier, feel better and lose weight (if that’s your goal).
Step 3: Incorporating New Healthy Habits
The truth is health is measured by a combination of factors — like energy, frequency of exercise, diet, stress, toxic levels from the environment, and of course how you feel overall. Your health is a constantly shifting series of variables, of which much of it you have control over.
In my experience, when we add new healthy habits IN, we can more easily eliminate the unhealthy habits. Each day I will offering support with a new healthy habit that is holistic in nature. You will be able to add these in as you choose!
